Welcome!  A little about Eric Mueller.

I have 16+ years experience working in the AEC industry; all requiring the implementation and use of BIM technology to achieve project and company goals. 

 

The first half of my career was spent as a Structural Engineer, providing design and drafting services for Retail, Higher Education, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Municipal buildings.  It was the early days of Revit/BIM, and I was lucky enough to be at a firm that adopted its use early on. This allowed for input on company standards and practice at the design level.

The later half was spent as a VDC Engineer at a BIM consulting firm, providing many of the same services I am providing today.  The opportunity to work with stakeholders at every each stage of a project lifecycle, and on a wide array of project types.  Retail, Healthcare, Education, Casinos, Stadiums and offices of all types.

I established Mueller VDC LLC in the early 2022 to provide General Contractors, Subcontractors, Owners and Designers, support and advisement on BIM/VDC requirements and needs.  This support is provided at the project level, to help meet BIM spec requirements and also at the enterprise level, assisting in implementing BIM technology and standards.
